The Giant Anthem Advanced SL 2 is built for riders who want maximum efficiency without giving up control on modern XC courses. The Advanced SL-grade composite frame uses Giant’s highest-level carbon construction, reducing weight while increasing stiffness to make every pedal stroke count on climbs and accelerations.
FlexPoint Pro suspension delivers 120mm of active rear travel, paired with a 120mm RockShox SID fork. The system is designed to stay efficient under power while remaining responsive over roots, rocks and rough trail sections. Remote lockout allows quick adjustments on the fly, helping maintain speed on smooth climbs or sprints.
A flip chip in the frame lets you fine-tune the geometry to suit different terrain, balancing agility and stability depending on trail conditions. The rear shock is repositioned closer to the top tube, improving frame stiffness and creating space for a second bottle cage, ideal for longer races or training rides.
The SRAM Eagle Transmission 1x12 drivetrain offers precise shifting and a wide 10–52T gear range, making steep climbs manageable without breaking rhythm. Shimano SLX hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power with good modulation, helping maintain control on fast descents.
Giant’s XCA WheelSystem is designed for rapid engagement and durability, while Maxxis Aspen 2.4” tyres deliver low rolling resistance with enough grip for modern XC trails. A dropper seatpost comes fitted as standard, adding confidence on technical descents without compromising climbing efficiency.
Lightweight, efficient and race-ready, the Anthem Advanced SL 2 is a strong choice for riders focused on cross-country speed, whether that’s lining up on the start grid or chasing personal bests on fast local trails.
