The Merida Dirt 700 is built for riders who go big. Whether you’re throwing tricks at the park, lapping the pump track or hitting local dirt jumps, this bike is made to take the punishment and keep on rolling.
At its core is a TFS aluminium frame, engineered from 6061 alloy for unbeatable strength and durability. The geometry is tuned for dirt jump performance — short, responsive and perfectly balanced for manuals, spins and jumps. The BSA threaded bottom bracket keeps things simple and reliable, while clearance for up to 26×2.5" tyres gives plenty of room for custom setups.
The front end is dominated by the RockShox Pike DJ Air fork, widely regarded as the benchmark for dirt jump suspension. With 100 mm of travel and a stiff 35 mm chassis, it soaks up harsh landings and keeps you in control when the hits get rough.
The single-speed drivetrain is built for simplicity and strength, reducing maintenance and letting you focus purely on riding. A powerful SRAM DB4 four-piston rear brake provides strong, consistent stopping power, complemented by a mechanical Tektro front brake for reliable modulation. The frame is also gyro-compatible, ready for riders who want to add barspins and tailwhips to their trick list.
Rolling on a DT Swiss D1900 wheelset, the Dirt 700 is equipped to take big impacts without flexing or flinching. Paired with Maxxis DTH 26×2.3" tyres, it delivers fast rolling speed, excellent grip, and smooth control across dirt, tarmac and wooden ramps alike.
Finished with Merida Comp aluminium finishing kit, the Dirt 700 feels planted and ready for action from the first pump. It’s a bike designed for riders who push their limits — strong, simple, and confidence-inspiring in every jump and landing.

Jump Bike Size guide
Jump bikes are designed and intended for Dirt jumps, street and skatepark riding. Not for riding any distance.
They primarily use a 26” wheel with the frame only available in one size, to suit riders taller than 4’5” or 137cm.
Some manufacturers offer a long or short length bike. Riders over 5’10” or 178cm will prefer the longer option.
