I read a few reviews of this bike and for the money its great value. I wanted a pedal assist as I want to get fitter and knew pedal assist can help me with hills etc and get me more mobile. I wanted an e bike that was relatively light and at only 18kg means I can ride with the motor off when my fitness improves or I want harder work out. The range is very good and maybe ill use for commuting in the summer months. Going down hill the brakes have proved very strong and give good feedback and stopping power. I have had rides on road which is my main cycle route but have also riden on walking trails which are gravel and uneven surfaces. The bike has performed flawlessly and the selection of gears is great for hills as well as flat roads, meaning that getting the correct speed is easy. I bought extras like lights, phone mount and Mudguards making this an all weather machine. Overall this bike has been brilliant for the price (£1k) and suits my needs now and for the future.
