The Orbea Gain M40 is an electric bike designed for riders who want to keep the traditional road bike feel while enjoying a bit of extra help when the climbs get steep or the miles add up. At the heart of this system is the Mahle X20 rear hub motor—ultra-compact, whisper quiet and delivering up to 55Nm of torque when needed. Unlike mid-drive motors, this hub unit creates no additional drag above assistance speeds, meaning you can pedal naturally and enjoy unassisted riding just like any other road bike.
