The Specialized Chisel HT is a lightweight alloy hardtail that blends race-day performance with everyday rideability—making it a top choice for riders who want XC precision and climbing efficiency at a more affordable price. Inspired by its carbon sibling, the Epic Hardtail, it shares much of the same forward-thinking geometry and race-tuned handling.
Built using D’Aluisio Smartweld Technology, the Chisel HT’s frame is engineered for strength and low weight. At just 1,350 g, it’s one of the lightest alloy XC frames on the market. The hydroformed tubes and size-specific stiffness tuning mean every frame rides as intended, no matter your size.
Geometry is optimised for modern cross-country riding. The 68-degree head angle, longer reach, and short rear triangle make it stable at speed but agile enough for tight singletrack. Internal cable routing, Boost hub spacing, and threaded bottom bracket add to the clean design and practicality.
The bike is equipped with a RockShox Judy Silver air fork delivering 100 mm of adjustable travel—ideal for smoothing out roots and trail chatter. SRAM’s SX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain offers simplicity and excellent climbing range, while Level T hydraulic disc brakes ensure controlled stopping power in any conditions.
Rolling on 29” alloy wheels, the Chisel HT is fitted with 2.35” Specialized Fast Trak Control tyres that offer speed and predictable grip across a variety of trail surfaces.
Whether you're racing XC, training on local loops, or tackling your first MTB event, the Specialized Chisel HT delivers high-performance handling in a responsive, trail-tough package that won't break the bank.
Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.
