The Fuel MX 9 Eagle 90 Gen 7 is built around Trek’s Alpha NEXT Platinum aluminium frame, engineered for strength, stiffness and lightweight efficiency. Features like guided internal cable routing, internal frame storage and adaptable geometry showcase Trek’s attention to detail, while Boost148 spacing keeps the rear end stiff for precise handling.

Suspension comes courtesy of Fox Factory components, with a 160mm Fox 36 fork up front paired to a Float X shock at the rear. Together they deliver plush, tunable suspension that smooths out the roughest terrain while keeping you composed on technical climbs. The MX wheel setup – a 29er up front and 27.5” at the rear – gives you rollover confidence with added agility.
Shifting is handled by SRAM’s Eagle 90 T-Type 12-speed drivetrain, designed to stay smooth and accurate even under heavy pedalling loads. Paired with the wide 10-52T cassette, it offers plenty of range for steep climbs and fast descents. Braking comes from SRAM Maven Bronze 4-piston brakes, delivering reliable stopping power and control in all conditions.
Rolling on Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels with Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tyres, this bike is ready for aggressive trail riding straight out of the box. A Bontrager Line dropper post completes the build, making it easy to switch your riding position as the trail demands.
