Tour of Britain
The Tour of Britain is the UK’s premier multi-stage road race, held each September over varying terrain across England, Scotland, and Wales. First held in 1945, the race is now part of the UCI Pro Series and attracts many of the worlds best, usually preparing for the World Road Race Championships in the autumn.
Recent champions include Wales’ own Stephen Williams in 2024, Wout van Aert in 2023, and Gonzalo Serrano in 2022. Wout van Aert stands out as one of the most successful riders to feature in the modern era of the event.
